The concerned tender, thanks to which Umbrella Coach & Buses will replace the controversial BusLine company in Jablonec, was covered for example on the dedicated website Zdopravy.cz, in the article titled “Umbrella Will Take over the Public Transport in Jablonec, the Municipal Representatives Decided”. It will be cheaper than BusLine. The article also mentions the failed first tender that the city had to cancel eventually. Instead, they announced the tendering procedure in which our company succeeded.

The benefits that the change of the operator will bring to the inhabitants of Jablonec are mentioned by the regional reporters of Mladá Fronta Dnes, Český rozhlas and Jablonecký deník. The website dedicated to the industry Bus Portál notes in particular the fact that we will deploy Mercedes-Benz Citaro buses in Jablonec, and also publishes photo documentation of these city buses.  

The regional website Genus points out in their article, among other things, that Umbrella Coach & Buses bid the best price per kilometre. The daily Nasliberec.cz also deals with the change in the public transport operation “at the neighbour’s”. The magazine Nasejablonecko.cz informs that the stops and timetables will remain unchanged for the inhabitants of Jablonec, as they are used to them, and the website Nasregion.cz mentions that Umbrella has already been successfully operating the public bus transport services in the German cities of Hamburg or Karlsruhe.
